In this lesson, we’ll walk you through the fundamental concepts that make drawing in TPC simple and efficient. Unlike traditional CAD programs, TPC organizes your work around a sheet of paper—a drawing page—making it easier to control and visualize your project.

We’ll start by opening a survey file so you can see the source data and understand where your drawings come from.

Next, we’ll show you how to access a Help Topic: “What is a Drawing?” for quick reference and learning.

We’ll demonstrate how to use Zoom Extents and adjust the scale to fit your data on the page.

Before printing, we’ll explore Print Preview, explaining key elements like the border, margins, and Page Layout mode that frame your drawing and control how it will appear on paper.

Finally, you’ll add a drawing border and revisit Print Preview to see the finished page setup.

By the end of this lesson, you’ll understand how TPC’s page-based drawing system works and how to prepare professional, print-ready survey drawings with ease.
